Olovis was a priest at in Lordaeron before the time of the Scourge. He supported the Alchemists and Mages of Dalaran who wanted to quarantine the infected towns. However, when he was put on trial for false accusations of treason, the Dalaran mages abandoned him for death. After being found guilty, he was dragged from the courtroom to the church where he served and, by a force of 3 fellow priests was quite literally cast out and down the steps of the church, breaking both of his shoulders and one leg on the way down. He was left there to die until the Plague came. He was among the first to succumb, but among the last to awaken. He served Arthas loyally for a few years until his power began to wane and Sylvanas began to lead a faction of the undead to freedom. This was the freedom his madness craved and had waited for. Now, serving the Warchief and the Dark Lady, Olovis sits contently making new concoctions and potions with the plans of someday laying waste to all of the living that had forsaken him in the past. He is death, he is vengeance, he is Foresaken.
