These rites are to punish those who do not and will not follow the rules o de clan, will not give respect to those of higher station or respect to those lower then them.
Cubs will only have 3 chances and possibly less consitering the severity of the wrong
Basic Rites
Rite of Ostracism This rite serves as a punishment by peers for those who commit lesser crimes. The duration of the rites effect varies with the severity of crime. The subject is ignored by the rest of the clan, is not allowed to participate in any functions, and may not command anything from those lower then her. In all pratical purposes, the guilty party ceases to exist. ((There will be a public note put on the guilty party and their rank will be lowered to punished, they will not beable to speak in guild chat))
Stone of Scorn This rite is one of the more crative forms of punishment, and is reseved for crimes against honor. The rite binds minor spirts of suffering and shame to a large rock, to whitch the offender is bound. Any member of the clan may hurle physical attacks as well as verbal to the guilty garou. ((There will be a public note put on the guilty party and will remain there for a week, if that person continues to misbehave the voice of shame will be used))
Voice of shame A clanmate can be subjected to this rite if found guilty of an act of cowardice or one of shameful dishonor not just to herself but also to her clan mates. When the rite is performed the guilty party is cursed with a shrill, high pitched voice((As above there will be a note put on publicly and that person is consitered to be the lowest of ranks for 2 weeks))
If a pup continues to misbehave they will be removed from the clan and outcast
Intermediate Rites
Satire Rite A favroite rite of the Mages and shamen, this ritual hurls ridicule and shame upon the subject. These poignant insults and ribald tales become part of the permanity oral history of the clanmate. ((A public note permantly will be added to your note and you will be droped down to cub))
Advanced Rites
The Rending of a oath This rite is reserved for those who have gone through all the punishement rites and havent seemed to learned, this rite rips the oath from the subject (and part of their soul) and removes them from the clan
Vengance of a Godess This rite is reserved for those clanmates guilty of the foulest and most horrible crimes, such as consorting with the taint, or killing or causing the death of a clanmate. The rite has a permanent eeffect and causes the subject to be permantly removed form the clan and a permantate rite of ostrism given to that person. There may be need to skip all the other rites to preform this rite.
